AS4EDI partners have concluded the analysis phase

December 5th, 2019

The partners of the AS4EDI consortium have concluded the analysis phase of the project and they are ready to start the technical implementation. LMT Group, as Technical Manager in this eDelivery project, has guided them in the main tasks: first, we shared with the partners the knowledge that we have gathered from previous projects (namely the Actions MADE, UP-ACCESS, and AS4EU), as promoters and participants of several eDelivery, eInvoicing, and eID projects, we have developed the necessary expertise to guide the beneficiaries through the analysis and technical phases.

Additionally, the participants were guided into the process of studying all the legal and technical requirements needed to start the implementation of the technical activities. They analysed their own national contexts, the European regulations (namely the eIDAS Regulation), the PEPPOL initiative, other actions related to eDelivery, as well as the CEF conformance test platform since one of the main goals for them is to pass these testings.

Furthermore, the main objective of the AS4EDI action is to promote the use of the eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) amongst private and public entities by integrating the AS4 protocol into six certified PEPPOL Access Points and their respective Service Metadata Publishers.
