AS4EU project passes interoperability tests

March 04th, 2019

The European project AS4EU  project aims to promote the use of the eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) amongst both private and public entities by implementing four PEPPOL Access Points, integrating the AS4 protocol, and their respective Service Metadata Publishers (SMP).

This project goes a step further in its implementation as it has already passed the interoperability tests between the participants. This is one of the main requirements in the context of implementation and integration activities for each Access Point (Activities 3 to 6) described in the in the Project Grant Agreement.

The interoperability and intercommunication between the platforms are guaranteed using PEPPOL exchange protocol, including the SML (Service Metadata Locator) and the SMP (Service Metadata Provider) that are supported by secure protocols. Each consortium member, supported by LMT, has efficiently coordinated various testing sessions with the other three participants. During each session, electronic messages were sent and received by each of the four AS4 access points and the necessary evidences were collected to demonstrate the correct execution of each test. Congratulations to everyone for the good job.
