Two mandatory technical publications on eInvoicing are available on National Standardisation Bodies

February 18th, 2019.

In the past weeks, the European Committee of Standardisation (CEN) and the European Commission signed an agreement that would grant free access to two CEN technical publications on eInvoicing in order for public and private entities to comply with the Directive 2014/55/EU. These publications are now available for all stakeholders through their National Standardisation Bodies. It is advised for private operators to contact their respective national authority on this topic, since accomplishing the European Standard will allow them to use the correct eInvoice format that all contracting public entities are compelled to receive, being April 18th, 2019 the implementation deadline for central authorities.

Foreseeing the application of this deadline,  LMT Group has developed the POOL-TSPs project, supporting 10 EDI providers from Spain, Belgium, Norway, Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, and Italy, on meeting the requirements of the aforementioned Directive and Standard. The POOL-TSPs project, which is co-financed by the European Commission, will enable these partners to send and receive  compliant electronic invoices in cross-border transactions.
