Universidad de Zaragoza organizes a conference on the status of electronic invoicing in Europe

The conference “Present and future of electronic invoice at an European level. A connected Europe” took place on past January 11 th 2019 at Universidad de Zaragoza, to discuss the current status of electronic invoice in Europe. With outstanding participation of many eInvoicing experts and the presence of European Parliament authorities, the conference held at the Assembly Room of the UNIZAR offered a panorama on the advantages of electronic invoicing.
The benefits of European invoicing standardization were highlighted, focused on motivating SMEs to seek for the internationalization of their businesses. Another objective of the conference was to give a response to the questions of those interested in eInvoicing, including companies and association financial managers in charge of the implementation of new guidelines in public and private administration.
In Spain, FACe is the electronic invoicing system implemented by Ministerio de Hacienda y Función Pública (Ministry of Finances). UNIZAR participates as the Coordinating Institution of the EUROFACe project, granted by the European Commission and with the objective of providing a central eInvoicing solution to regional and local public Spanish authorities, meeting the requirements of the Directive 2014/55/EU and guaranteeing that cross-border transactions will comply with the European Standard. LMT Group participates in the EUROFACe project as Technical Manager.
