Approved amendment for the EUROFACe project

October 16th, 2018

An amendment that modifies the Grant Agreement signed by INEA (Innovation and Networks Executive Agency) and the EUROFACe project participants was approved, with the purpose of postponing the project’s conclusion date.

In consequence, expected closure will be extended to February 28th 2019, facilitating the performance of activities such as conformance tests and general project management. In this timespan it is expected the completion of the following milestones: Interoperability Tests and Validation of e-invoices by core service platform through the GITB testing platform, which evaluates compliance with the European Standard syntaxes.

EUROFACe is a project coordinated by the Universidad de Zaragoza, with the participation of LMT Group and the Spanish Government, among other public and private entities.

Its aim is to upgrade the centralized solution of electronic invoicing for regional and local public Spanish entities -the FACe platform- to comply with the requirements established in Directive 2014/55/EU and the European Standard. This will promote cross-border transactions, enabling cost reduction and efficiency in administrative and tax processes.

This project is co-financed by the European Commission through the 2016 CEF Telecom Call – eInvoicing (CEF-TC-2016-3).
