A consortium meeting of the EURINV project will be celebrated

July 11th, 2019

Next July 25th, a consortium meeting of the EURINV project “Implementing the European Standard in consolidated eInvoicing cloud platforms” (Action number: 2018-EU-IA-0073) will take place in Valencia. This European initiative is aimed at strengthening the use of electronic invoicing between public bodies and private entities in the European Union.

The Action is coordinated by Universitat Politècnica de València with the support of LMT Group. Its main objective is to update the eInvoicing solutions of 7 EDI providers from Spain, Finland, Italy, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, and Germany to be fully compliant with the European eInvoicing Standard (EN) according to the Directive 2014/55/EU. Additionally, 2 public entities from Ireland and Slovakia will uptake an eInvoicing solution aligned with the EN. After the updates, the participants and their clients will be able to process compliant cross-border invoices from any other Member State.

During this consortium meeting, representatives of all the involved entities will share their experience about relevant aspects for the correct implementation of the project: they will review the work plan, identify the possible problems and solutions, share all the available tools and channels, set the responsibilities that each participant should assume, amongst others.

The project is co-financed by the CEF Telecom program of INEA (European Commission). This instrument has been conceived to enhance cross-border interaction amongst public bodies, private companies, and citizens in Europe.
