EURINV project: the analysis phase has been concluded

March 30th, 2020

The EURINV consortium members have recently concluded the first phase of the project. The technical and legal requirements in order to start the technical implementation have been identified by the participant EDI providers with the support of LMT Group, as well as from UPV, the coordinating institution.

The European Directive 2014/55/EU, which establishes the grounds for a common European standard for electronic invoicing, is one of the main bases studied by the participants. They have also analysed past projects in which either LMT or UPV had participated, taking advantage of the expertise of these management entities.

The national context of the participants and their use cases -Billit (Belgium), OpusCapita (Finland), S.A.T.A. (Italy) and Eckonomická univerzita v Bratislave (Slovakia), Enxendra (Spain), Calvi (Netherlands), Generix (France), Celtrino and Dublin Simon (Ireland), and Webware (Germany)- was also studied and the requirements established by the national transpositions of the European Directive are being taken on account.

The conclusion of this activity represents the start of the technical implementation, in which the participants will adopt the valid syntaxes (UBL and CII) of the EU Directive for their eInvoicing solutions, becoming aligned with the aforementioned directive.
