The EURINV partners updated their eInvoicing platforms and they are now aligned with the EU Directive

April 30th, 2020

Thanks to the EURINV initiative, co-financed by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency through its CEF Telecom program, 7 electronic invoicing platforms have been updated (Billit, OpusCapita, SATA, Enxendra, Calvi, Generix, and Webware) and 2 more have been uptaken by 2 use cases to be aligned with the European Directive (Dublin Simon Community, and Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave), fulfilling the European Standard and its required syntaxes (UBL and CII), according to Directive 2014/55/EU (eInvoicing Directive).

After concluding a technical and legal analysis of the European directives and standards, as well as their national contexts, the participants elaborated a solution design and proceeded with the technical implementation of the complying syntaxes in their own eInvoicing solutions (or in the use cases, if corresponding). The beneficiaries counted with the technical support of LMT Group, as well as the management of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) for the administrative tasks.

Currently, the EDI providers of the EURINV consortium are performing the mandatory CEF eInvoicing Conformance tests to be able to successfully finish the project next September 2020. They are now enabled to offer an electronic invoicing service to their clients, that is aligned with the European regulations and will be therefore habilitated to process eInvoices from other Member States (that are also aligned with the eInvoicing Directive).
