The LOD-RoadTran18 partners are working to complete the analysis stage of the project

The LOD-RoadTran18 project, which started back in 2019, is an initiative coordinated by the IRTIC (Institute of Robotics, Information, and Communication Technologies) of the Universitat de València (Spain). It is being performed by a consortium of Spanish and Czech participants, including LMT Group, as well as the Jefatura Central de Tráfico of the Spanish government, the Czech Technical University in Prague, amongst other different public and private entities.

This Action seeks to enhance the reuse of Road Traffic Data across the Czech Republic and Spain and for this purpose, the participants need to analyse the legal and technical context in two frameworks: first, the European directives as well as open data initiatives, and also their own national context, in order to transpose these directives to their own territories.

For the technical part, each participant involved in the implementation will analyse the technical background and the many activities established in the European Union that can serve as a guide and example for the correct deployment of this project.

LOD-RoadTran18 is a project co-financed by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) of the European Commission through their CEF Telecom program. You can get more information about this initiative on its official website: http://cef.uv.es/lodroadtran18/
