Under the coordination of IRTIC (Institute of Robotics, Information, and Communication Technologies) of the Universitat de València, and with the technical support of LMT Group, the Consortium of the project LOD-RoadTran18 (Supporting the cross-border use of Road Traffic Data with Linked Open Data based on DATEX II) continues moving forward with the planned tasks and milestones.
In this regard, Activity 8 (Implementation and deployment of an LOD enhanced TIS and Testing) has just started (on 01/06/21) benefiting from the results of the previous activities. This activity is composed of three different tasks; the enhancement of the Spanish NAP with LOD; the implementation of an LOD platform in the Czech Republic and the LOD deployment and testing.
Moreover, the partners are implementing some guidelines corresponding to Milestone 6 (DATEX II Ontology + DATEX II to LOD + LOD DATEX II Validator). So, the Consortium is completing the implementation of the LOD vocabulary and the semantic models developed for Spain and Czech Republic, taking into account the evolution of the DATEX II standard and also the particularities of each country.
LOD-RoadTran18 is an action co-financed by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency – HaDEA (CEF Telecom program – 2018-EU-IA-0088), that aims to support the re-use of dynamic Road Traffic Data in and across the Czech Republic and Spain, to make the European Data Portal FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable) and to connect it with any other sector data by using Linked Open Data (LOD).
