CEF Telecom 2020-1: new eDelivery call funded by the European Commission promoting AS4 Access Points

March 13th, 2020

The new Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom call for proposals is open now (CEF-TC-2020-1). Under the CEF eDelivery call of this programme, an IT company or public institution can receive EU funding to create or upgrade an AS4 PEPPOL Access Point (AP).

The 2020 CEF Telecom eDelivery call will provide about €1 million in funding to those competitive consortiums approved by the evaluation committee. The scope of the funded projects is to enable public administrations and private entities to exchange electronic documents and data with other public administrations, business and citizens in a secure, reliable and interoperable way, by using the AS4 eDelivery profile promoted by the European Commission.

Only the proposals which demonstrate sufficient maturity, contribute to EU Digital Single Market policies and have a long-term sustainability strategy will receive the European funding under this call.

LMT Group has an extensive expertise since 2015 in developing and managing CEF projects related to eDelivery, eInvoicing, eIdentification and Public Open Data. We promote consortiums composed by relevant public and private entities, coordinated by us and by a Spanish public university. The European Commission has already approved 14 of our CEF projects, including the following 6 eDelivery ones, funding a total of 29 PEPPOL Access Points from different Member States (https://lmtgroup.eu/projects):

  • AS4EDI-19: European EDI Providers integrating the AS4 eDelivery (2019-EU-IA-0012).
  • Pro-AS4: Promoting European AS4 Access Points (2019-EU-IA-0009).
  • AS4EDI: European EDI Providers integrating the AS4 eSENS Profile (2018-EU-IA-0060).
  • AS4EU: Promoting the AS4 between PEPPOL Access Points around EU (2017-EU-IA-0104).
  • UP-Access: Upgrading Access Points for cross-border eDelivery (2017-EU-IA-0103).
  • MADE: Multiple Access to eDelivery (2016-EU-IA-0063).

We are now looking for partners, especially current PEPPOL AP migrating from AS2 to AS4, to build a strong consortium and to prepare a project proposal that meets INEA award criteria.

Proposals for other calls such as eIdentification, eSignature, eArchiving, eHealth and Open Data will also be prepared, so if you think you may be interested, let us know. You can read more about our project proposals for 2020 here.

If you are interested in being part of our consortium and participating in this eDelivery call, or in any other CEF Telecom call, contact us at projects@lmtgroup.eu and we will provide you with more information. Since we intend to have the consortium built by the end of March, we kindly ask you to confirm your interest as soon as possible.
