Updated Country factsheets on eInvoicing had been published by European Commission

A series of country factsheets on eInvoicing have been published by the European Commission in collaboration with the Member State experts of the European Multi-Stakeholder Forum on eInvoicing. These factsheets are an overview on the achievements of eInvoicing implementation of each country. They also describe the involvement, actions, and the legal framework and platforms developed by Member States. It depicts the efforts of each Member State authorities (at national, regional and local level) on transposing the eInvoicing directive into law.

Public administrations will have to comply with the Directive 2014/55/EU. The directive´s objective is to make sending of eInvoices possible from sellers to different EU countries customers in a single, unified format. Implementation deadline is April 18 th 2019, though non-central entities have been granted with an extra year for compliance.

In order to help partners to meet the requirements of the aforementioned Directive, LMT Group is managing POOL-TSPs Project. Co-financed by the European Commission, the project will support 10 EDI providers from different Member States on meeting the European Standard on electronic invoicing for cross-border transactions.
