eID4Spain Consortium Meeting was celebrated on March 26th
March 27th, 2019
The eID4Spain consortium meeting, organized by LMT Group with the collaboration of the Project Coordinator, was held yesterday at IRTIC (Institute of Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies). It was attended by representatives of the different entities that make up the consortium: Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Junta de Extremadura, Diputación Provincial de Ciudad Real, Diputació de València, Guadaltel S.A. and Ayuntamiento de Rivas Vaciamadrid.
This eIdentification project aims to connect the public services of four local and regional administrations to the Spanish eIDAS node through the electronic identification system Cl@ve 2.0. This implies cross-border authentication in accordance with the eIDAS regulation.
On the one hand, the main objective of this event was to promote the CEF Building Block eIdentification and the eIDAS regulation. On the other hand, issues related to the internal development of the project, such as the work plan, the administrative and dissemination aspects, as well as the technical issues for adaptation to the new version of the electronic identification system Cl@ve were discussed.
This project is co-financed by the European Commission through the 2018 CEF Telecom call – Identification and electronic signature (CEF-TC-2018-1).
