European Commission approves another eDelivery project for LMT Group who adds up to 2 approved projects on this field (MADE and AS4EU). The corresponding call for this project is CEF-TC-2017-2 e-Delivery.

AS4EU, “Promoting the AS4 between PEPPOL Access Points around EU”, is an action based on promoting the use of the eDelivery DSI among private and public entities by implementing 4 PEPPOL Access Points, integrating the AS4 protocol, and their respective Service Metadata Publishers (SMP). The aim is to connect the Access Points of the participants’ companies, established in different EU countries, to the EU Core Service Platform in order to enable the cross-border transaction of electronic documents between private and public entities.

The consortium in this project is a transnational association composed of five different Member States (Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, Ireland, and Spain). It brings together four competitive EDI Providers with significant expertise in this field, and with an extensive range of electronic services offered around Europe. The project is managed and coordinated by Universitat Politècnica de Valencia (UPV) and LMT Group.

Summarizing, the implementation of all access points within the consortium will allow thousands of European companies that already use electronic services provided by the consortium to be into the cross-border exchange of e-documents.
