LMT Group participates in EUROLogin, a new eIdentification project

November 27th, 2018

Last October LMT Group started a new European project called Cross-border authentication in European cloud platforms according to the eIDAS Regulation (EUROLogin) whose objective is the integration of European platforms in the cloud according to the Regulation (EU) No 910/2014, thus guaranteeing the secure identification  of European citizens when using the services offered by both public and private entities. EUROLogin is co-financed by the European Commission through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) TELECOM programme. The implementing period of EUROLogin goes from October 2018 until February 2020.

The EUROLogin consortium consists of four companies that provide electronic services and are connected to the four national eIDAS nodes in the countries they belong to: BILLIT BVBA, from Belgium, AC Goldman Solutions & Services, GSS Ltd, from Cyprus, S.A.T.A. Applicazione Tecnologie Avanzate Srl (SATA), from Italy and Elcom Systems Limited (ELCOM), from the United Kingdom. The Universitat Politècnica de València will coordinate EUROLogin, and LMT Group will be the Project Manager. EUROLogin will allow the secure and reliable connection to several public and private electronic services, mainly related to eDelivery, eArchiving, eAdministration or eGovernment.

The project is co-financed by the European Commission through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) TELECOM programme, an EU instrument to facilitate cross-border interaction between public administrations, businesses and citizens through the deployment of digital service infrastructures (DSI) and broadband networks.
